Don Quixote Distillery(TM) extracts are made using our Vodkas and Brandies
Extract versus Imitation:
There are two methods for obtaining the desired flavors, aromas, and essential oils sought in
various herbs.  One method extracts using alcohol while the other applies mechanical means such
as heat (cooking) or pressure (squeezing).

Using alcohol results in herbal extracts while mechanical means results in imitations, with extracts
being more prized by chefs and herbalists.  At Don Quixote, we only make extracts.

In line with FDA standards, our extracts are at 35% alcohol.  We never add sugar, thickeners, or
chemical enhancers to our extracts.  We are the only extract producer in the country who makes
the spirits used in their extraction process.
Vanilla extracts:
Our vanilla extracts are made from the beans of uncultivated orchids growing free in
the rain forests of Madagascar and Tahiti.  The beans are cured in sun-warmed
containers without the use of chemical additives.  We make four different vanilla
extracts, each with a subtle but uniquely charming  character
  1. Anasazi - Blue Corn Vodka vanilla extract
  2. Pisco - Muscat brandy vanilla extract
  3. Qalvados - Apple Brandy vanilla extract
  4. Mon Cherie - Cherry Brandy vanilla extract
Fruit extract:
Our fruit extract was first made for use in our Don Quixote Sangria.  Along
the way found that our fruit extract can be used for baking and for making
an instant pitcher of Sangria.  No longer will 24 hour advanced preparation
be needed to make a high quality Sangria.  Now you can use our fruit
extract to make sangria when and where you need it.   Made with Don
Quixote brandy and an array of fruits.
Ginseng extract:
Ancient Asian cultures have long touted the beneficial effects of the ginseng root.  Our ginseng extract is made from the
root of the Korean red ginseng plant - considered to be the best and most powerful.  We use our Blue Corn Vodka to
create an extract that can be mixed in tea or combined with honey and taken daily for mens health
